Next step in the fight for reimbursement of enzyme replacement therapy in Switzerland: A Swiss newspaper reports that a commission has decided that the cost for the Pompe drug, Myozyme, have to be reimbursed by the national health system. The decision is yet to be confirmed by the federal administration.

Die Eidgenössische Arzneimittelkommission sieht das anders. Sie hat das Medikament jetzt auf die Spezialitätenliste gesetzt. Die Kassen müssen es damit wohl bezahlen.”
