MDA MUSCLE WALK to raise money to support research on Pompe Disease
The University of North Carolina (UNC) will raise money during the 2014 Triangle Muscle Walk in Durham to support the mission of the Muscle Dystrophy Association (MDA) to support individuals and families affected by muscular dystrophy. Much of the money raised by the UNC team will go towards research on Pompe disease, a rare genetic neuromuscular disease.
It is a wonderful opportunity to raise awareness for a relatively unknown and often misdiagnosed disease.
